Lizerium License Agreement

1. Game and parties

This agreement governs use of the game Lizerium. Lizerium is distributed and updated through Lizerium Steam. The Licensor is Individual Entrepreneur Nikolay Alekseevich Dvurechensky, OGRNIP 326480000034340. The user accepting this agreement is the Licensee. This agreement covers the Lizerium version supplied with it and the Licensor's own components within that version. Separate licenses for third-party components remain applicable.

2. Acceptance

The full text is available offline in the client and on the official website. Selecting "Accept" indicates acceptance of this revision. Opening the website, closing the window or selecting "Exit" is not acceptance. If you decline, startup stops. Obtain consent from a legal representative before accepting if that consent is required to enter into the agreement. The client stores a local record of the accepted revision. A website change alone does not constitute acceptance of revised terms.

3. Permitted use

A non-exclusive, free-of-charge license is granted to Lizerium's own components for personal, non-commercial play. You may download the official distribution, install and run it on devices you own or lawfully use, and make backup copies. Use is permitted worldwide subject to applicable law. The term is five years from acceptance, limited by the duration of the relevant rights. No exclusive rights are transferred. Separate paid products or services require a separate express agreement. This document creates no payment obligation.

4. Lizerium's own development

The Lizerium name, original brand elements, the design and content of its own media channels, original tool source code and other independently created project materials are developed by the Licensor to the extent the relevant rights belong to the Licensor. The functional components and libraries are predominantly original work. Some components still contain parts originating from Freelancer (2003). Replacement with original implementations continues through regular development. This describes the project's current state and is not a guarantee of completion in a particular month. Third-party names, code and materials are not claimed as Lizerium's property.

5. Temporarily used game materials

At the date of this revision, Lizerium temporarily uses borrowed game materials, including models, sounds and effects from Freelancer (2003) and the modifications Freelancer Discovery, Freelancer Crossfire, Freelancer Orion and Freelancer Rebirth. These resources are gradually replaced with original work through development and updates. The borrowed resources may differ between versions. Rights to source resources and remaining inherited code belong to their respective right holders. Attribution, free distribution and an intention to replace a resource do not constitute permission to use or distribute it. This agreement does not replace necessary permissions or third-party licenses, grant additional rights to these resources, or imply endorsement by the named projects. Right holders may contact the Licensor to request review and remediation, including modification or removal of affected materials.

6. Public code and separate licenses

Source code for many Lizerium products and tools is publicly available at https://github.com/Lizerium . Use, modification and redistribution of each repository are governed by its LICENSE file, applicable notices and contributors' rights. Public availability does not automatically permit every use. This agreement does not restrict rights expressly granted by a separate open-source license or extend one repository's license to the entire game, borrowed resources, brand or media channels.

7. Restrictions and publications

Without separate permission, you may not sell the Licensor's own materials, present modified builds as official, or remove required attribution and license notices. These restrictions do not override acts expressly permitted by law or a separate license. Non-commercial screenshots, recordings and streams involving Lizerium's own materials are permitted with project attribution. Third-party resources, music and other protected materials remain subject to their right holders' terms. User modification support depends on the game version and does not imply official endorsement.

8. Online play

Server availability depends on operators and technical conditions. Separate rules may be provided before connection. Attacks, interference with the service, cheating for unfair advantage and infringement of other players' rights are prohibited on the Licensor's servers. Access restrictions follow the relevant server rules and law. Questions and appeals may be sent to nikolay@dvurechensky.pro . A restriction on one server does not by itself revoke permission for lawful offline play.

9. Distribution, updates and data

Lizerium Steam provides official distribution and updates for Lizerium. Updates may change functionality and compatibility, replace borrowed resources and remaining inherited code with original work, fix defects and update license notices. Materially revised terms must be presented separately. The official websites are https://lizerium.com and https://lizup.ru , with the latter intended for Russian-speaking users. Opening the agreement on the website launches a browser and connects to an official website. This agreement is not consent to advertising or personal-data processing and does not replace required separate data-processing notices.

10. Operation and liability

The game may contain defects. Continuous server availability, compatibility with every device and preservation of user modifications are not guaranteed. Keep backups of important data. These provisions apply only to the extent permitted by law and do not exclude mandatory warranties, consumer rights or liability that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited.

11. Termination and applicable law

You may stop using the software and delete your copies at any time. Termination for a material breach follows applicable legal procedures. After termination, uses no longer authorized must stop. Russian law applies without depriving users of mandatory protections under applicable laws of their country. Jurisdiction is determined by law. No exclusive jurisdiction at the Licensor's location is imposed.
